I embarked on my journey in the financial services industry in 2015, following a 25-year career in the Oil & Gas sector. Originally from Houma, Louisiana, I began my professional life at Camco Products and Services, working primarily in the Gulf of Mexico. After Schlumberger acquired Camco in 1996, I transitioned into sales in 1999. In 2002, I joined Superior Energy Services and moved to Houston, Texas in 2004. By 2006, I had risen to the position of Vice President of Sales for our division. In 2013, I became part of the Executive Team at Light Tower Rentals as their Vice President of Sales and Marketing. However, the industry downturn in 2015 led to my first layoff.
Seeking a new challenge, I turned to my passion for numbers, planning, and helping others. My experiences in the oilfield taught me the value of good financial advisors and the importance of building strong relationships with clients. I believe that being a good financial advisor means asking the right questions, understanding clients' needs, and truly listening.
I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference as a financial advisor and to own my own business. During the COVID pandemic, I realized I wanted more independence, leading to the founding of Old Glory Financial. As a veteran and a proud patriot, the name “Old Glory” reflects my deep love for our country, the American flag, and the red, white, and blue. My family has a strong tradition of military service, with my grandfather, father, son, and myself all having served our great nation.
I currently hold Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Licenses and hold my Series 7 and 66 licenses through LPL Financial. My primary focus is on developing comprehensive financial plans for individuals and assisting business owners with retirement planning.
I reside in Spring, Texas, with my wife, Leslie and we have been married 35 years. Family is at the center of our lives, and we are blessed with three wonderful granddaughters with another one on the way.
Our oldest daughter Bridgette, lives in the Austin area with her husband and three daughters. We have twin boys, the first Justin has been married since September of 2024 and they are expecting their first daughter. Jared married in May 2025.
In my free time, I enjoy golfing and most of all spending quality time with family and friends. Watching our family grow and celebrating life's milestones together has been one of my greatest blessings.
